Extremely useful during merger of ERIKS bv and van Eyle&Ruygers Schwartz
24.03.2008
ERIKS bv has been using Every Angle for more than six years now. Rene Overwater of ERIKS bv says that, from an operational point of view, he would no longer be able to work without Every Angle. In addition, ERIKS will structurally use Every Angle for SAP implementations at new companies. At this moment for example, Every Angle is used for the legal merger between ERIKS bv and van Eyle&Ruygers Schwartz (ERxS).
Early February, ERIKS bv and van Eyle&Ruygers Schwartz (ERxS) underwent a legal merger. The implementation of SAP at ERxS was a great success thanks to thorough preparation, conversion and training. Every Angle has added significant value in the aftercare stages.
First, the conversion was checked via different cross-sections. Have all products been linked to the correct branches? Have the sales orders been created using the correct distribution dates? And so on and so on.
Every Angle really proved its worth during the first weeks when it checked the progress. A few simple angles have created a transparent overview of productivity and backlogs per department. Please find below an overview of which departments created which angles:
- Purchasing department:
o How many orders have been created?
o How many ATBs are still wrongly outstanding? - Sales department:
o How many sales orders have been created?
o How many sales orders are still wrongly outstanding (incomplete, delivery block, etc.)? - Logistics department:
o How many internal bookings have been made?
o How many deliveries have been confirmed?
o How many deliveries are still wrongly outstanding?
Lastly, Every Angle has been used to check specific issues. This includes the incorrect transport between branches or demand without follow-up.
The following angles have been created for that purpose:
o How many sales orders are wrongly outstanding (incomplete, delivery block, etc.)?
o How many internal bookings have been made? How many deliveries have been confirmed? How many deliveries are still wrongly outstanding?
