Support SAP roll-out at Stork Food Systems
01.10.2008
In the second half of this year, Stork Food Systems will roll out SAP to other parts of the organisation with the help of Every Angle. Every Angle also helped Stork dramatically improve supplier management at Stork PMT and Stork Titan in Boxmeer. Thanks to Every Angle, a number of the suppliers’ service levels have increased considerably.
Roy Coenders and Frans Faber of Stork PMT will tell you all about it during our customer day.
Stork PMT
Stork PMT in Boxmeer is a leading manufacturer of machines for the processing of poultry. Stork PMT is part of Stork Food Systems, which develops, produces and maintains industrial systems and installations for the processing of poultry, meat and (liquid) foodstuff. In May 2008, Stork Food Systems was acquired by Marel Food Systems, the world's leading manufacturer of advanced machines and systems for the food processing industry.
Every Angle and Stork PMT
For years, Stork PMT and Stork Titan have been controlling their material flows with SAP's ERP. In the second half of this year, Stork Food Systems will roll out SAP to other parts of the organisation with the help of Every Angle. The design and manufacturing of machines is a specialised, complex task that requires close coordination between the suppliers and in-house processes. Every Angle is particularly powerful in such environments.
Presentation on customer day
Roy Coenders, (IT project leader), and Frans Faber (Supply Chain Director) of Stork PMT will give a presentation about this project on the Every Angle customer day in November. Roy will explain what managing the Every Angle application entails. To ensure users can work with the system as best as possible, an efficient first, second and third-line helpdesk has been put in place as well as a technical environment that contains an Every Angle test server and an acceptance server. Frans will reveal how Every Angle is used to improve Stork's logistics performance.
