Supply Chain Seminar

On 11 and 12 December Every Angle organised the Supply Chain Seminar in Germany in collaboration with SAP AG at the head office of Continental Trading AG in Frankfurt (Germany). Attendees included Supply Chain Managers, Business Process Experts and SAP SCM Experts.

Operational Excellence
The theme of the seminar was ‘Operational Excellence in a complex supply chain with SAP’. Matthias Vogel of SAP AG held a presentation about Operational Excellence and demonstrated the new SAP MII solution. The Every Angle managing director Jacques Adriaansen then gave his vision on Operational Excellence.

Operational KPI's
'Operational KPI's' proved to be an interesting topic at the Operational Excellence seminar. Based on two cases, ‘Working capital’ and ‘Service level’, participants were divided in groups of two and asked to think about which KPI's they would want to measure and to give definitions of these KPI's. There was also a demonstration of how an organisation can be driven using operational action lists and how KPI's can actually be improved. Other topics included the critical success factors when embedding the KPI's and action lists within the organisation.
