New customer: BAE Systems
21.09.2009
In July 2009 BAE Systems, a global company that develops, supplies and supports advanced defence and aviation systems, decided to start using Every Angle software. After an initial introduction, some demonstrations and a subsequent two-day training period, the experience proved to be so successful that the project executives decided to start using the software immediately.
BAE Systems
BAE Systems is a global organisation that develops, supplies and supports advanced defence and aviation systems for use in the air, on land and at sea. The organisation operates on five continents, with customers and partners in over a hundred countries.
Every Angle project team
BAE Systems uses SAP software to support its primary business processes. Its branch in Newcastle-upon-Tyne specialises in the production of advanced armoured vehicles. Since the beginning of 2009 a special project team within BAE has been active in screening the total end-to-end business processes, detecting bottlenecks and reconfiguring these processes where necessary. Project leader Sean Culey was introduced to Every Angle at an earlier stage, and he decided to use the software as an important tool for this project.
Information retrieval with Every Angle
Retrieving information from the SAP system used to be done via online SAP queries and customised reports. Only a short time after Every Angle was implemented, project reports were largely replaced by Every Angle overviews, mostly by the so-called KPI reports. The standard Every Angle reports are also used to detect data pollution in SAP so it can then be cleaned. During the Customer Day on 12 November 2009, project leader Sean Culey will give a presentation on how he has deployed Every Angle as a handy tool and what results have been achieved.
