Every Angle education and training
Every Angle offers an extensive functional and technical education package. In-house training sessions use the company’s data.
Every Angle offers the following education program:
Functional education
Basic user instruction
The user training course is for the Every Angle user. Standard users only need to learn about the Every Angle components that are important for their daily situation. To guarantee the practical use of this training it is given in cooperation with or by a key user from the company. The time required for the user training courses varies between a few hours to a whole day. No prior knowledge is required.
Key user education
This training course is for the Every Angle key user. The key user education can be provided in two versions, a two day course (compact version, theoretical course with no practical exercises) or during a maximum of five days (comprehensive version, ample time for exercises and discussions related to the company’s situation). A thorough knowledge of SAP, of the corporate processes and the structure of the corporate processes in the SAP system is required to participate in this training course. The following subjects will be covered:
- Every Angle general background: Data extraction and Live Objects.
- Running Angles, the use of standard Angles.
- Using Angle Wizard to independently install and modify Angles.
- Applying Every Angle to customer order management.
- Detecting bottlenecks in the chain using Every Angle.
- Applying Every Angle to purchase order management.
- Applying Every Angle to stock management.
- Applying Every Angle to work orders and production planning.
- Applying Every Angle to BOM's and routings.
- Applying Every Angle to data quality management.
Every Angle certification program
Key users that have completed the key user education and have at least half a year of practical experience using the system (or over 100 hours logged-on time), can join a certification program. The program consists of two days additional training, two practical exercises and an exam. The exam is not easy to pass. When you pass the exam, you will receive a certificate. When you pass the exam with 80% or more of the available points, you will receive a certificate with the ‘cum laude’ mark.
Every Angle Academy
Starting in the summer of 2008, Every Angle also offers the Every Angle Academy as a top-level training course. This is an intensive top-level course for experienced key users during two three-day periods. Please ask your Every Angle consultant for more information.
Technical education
Every Angle technical overview course
The technical overview course is available for administrators who are responsible for the management of the Every Angle system. The technical background of Every Angle has got the main focus during this training course. The subjects include the system installation and the SAP function module, extraction process details, security of the C/S protocol, the Every Angle server settings, creating user and authorization profiles, command line tools for the server and extractor and analysing Every Angle log files.
The duration of this course is approximately one day. The required prior knowledge is a sound knowledge of the SAP system and network administration.
Every Angle technical expert education
The technical expert training course is available for administrators who have to manage the application and extend the configuration. The technical background of Every Angle is dealt with in detail and is illustrated with numerous examples and practical exercises. During this course, you will execute a complete installation and become acquainted with the extensive configuration options. You will install the system, create authorization profiles, users and user groups. You will analyze possible error messages and analyze log files. In the configuration-block, you will add new SAP fields to the system download of your newly installed (test) Every Angle system, then you will extend this with special calculated fields, new tables, new objects (using the MODULE-function). At the end of the course you will be able to extend the system with new structures and relate the new objects to the existing structure.
This is a three-day course. The required prior knowledge is a sound knowledge of SAP system and network administration, as well as a basic knowledge of the Every Angle functionality. If requested, it is possible to extend this course with a functional introduction of the system prior to the technical course blocks.
