The unique running event HomeRun will be taking place on June 23-24. During this event, each team of 10 runners will run 240 kilometers in 24 hours in the shape of a heart across The Netherlands. Day and night, in good and bad weather, the runners will raise money for the Ronald McDonald Houses and holiday homes. 24 hours non-stop, because the care for a sick child is after all also non-stop…

Helping a sick child fight their illness takes a big enough emotional toll on a family. Adding a financial strain can make it almost too much to bear. The Ronald McDonald Houses can help address those problems, whether they involve housing that’s near a hospitalized child, the expense of staying together in another city or even getting basic medical and dental care in a vulnerable community.

The route of the HomeRun goes past Ronald McDonald Houses in The Netherlands. The start is in Utrecht, then via Gouda to Rotterdam and ‘s-Hertogenbosch, to arrive the next day back in Utrecht.

At the same time, a group of amateur cyclists will cycle the HomeRide. They will cycle 500 kilometers in 24 hours, also in the shape of a heart. The HomeRunners and HomeRiders will meet each other at the start, finish and at a few checkpoints.

Every Angle is highly impressed by this beautiful event and is therefore a proud sponsor. We want to wish the fantastic team of HomeRun and HomeRide good luck in raising money and awareness for families with a sick child.
